About me
& my burning desire
to save the world from bad products 🔥

I am a UI/UX designer based in Toronto, recent graduate of the Industrial Engineering (Human Factors) program at the University of Toronto.

Currently working as an Experience Designer at Publicis Sapient.

My passion for user experience design comes from an itch I can’t seem to get rid of: this burning desire to save the world from bad products.

A switch that turns on the light at the other end of the room. That horrendous bank website that takes hours to navigate. The microwave that I still don’t fully know how to use to this day. I grew up noticing just how badly designed some products and services were—and was utterly convinced I could do better.

When I first started out as an engineering student back in school, I was solely interested in the technology behind making systems, processes and products more efficient. Later I realized that things are a lot more interesting when you consider how humans fit into it all. We are complicated creatures with complicated behaviours, and it’s the challenge of designing for them that I enjoy.

As a designer...

  • 💡🌈 I strive to design products that are not only smart and intuitive, but also ethical, inclusive and delightful to use.
  • 🎨✨ I embrace creativity but appreciate simplicity. Good design is elegant, emotional, and—if truly done well—invisible.
  • 👩‍💻👩🏻‍💼 I sit myself at the same table as the business analyst, product strategist, and systems architect. I do much more than push pixels.

As a person...

  • ☕️➡️🍵 Coffee-turned-tea lover, avid foodie, fitness enthusiast, a sucker for good music.
  • 🍁🌎 Torontonian at heart but keen on setting foot in every part of the world.
  • ⚙️🌱 Curious about how things work and why we need them to work; excited but cautious about how technology will eventually shape our future.

When I’m not designing, I like to...

📚Read, ✍🏻 write, and 🖌 sketch. 🧗🏻‍♀️ Climb things and 👟 run places. 🥘 Cook up new recipes.
✈️ Think about where in the world I want to travel to next!
